I try to avoid upgrading an OS and prefer to buy a PC with the new OS
However, from what I hear Win 7 is really Vista Part 2 so I think the upgrade "should" go smoothly.
I just bought two Vista PC's in 2008 so I will skip Win7 unless I find a "need" for it, but if I do I will upgrade
backups are always a good idea before upgrading
