Arches in X2 are faceted
I often build curved roof sections which have applied rake friezes on the gable ends.
The curved molding polylines have a variety of facets (straight sections) in them rather than riding along a very smooth radius (as in version 10).
Has any one else noticed that radial molding polylines don't seem to follow a smooth arc?
Is there a way to adjust the curved lines to male a cleaner radius without the facets?Val

put a whole lot of breaks in the polylines, and the segments won't be as obvious.

Thanks Allen.
I wonder why V-10 never had this problem?
The arches in V-10 were much easier to control as well.
Meaning that you could grab the end...hit the control button...and make it fit exactly how you wanted.

Val,
In X-2 you have the convert curve to polyline tool to do that for you. Just select the number of segments you want.

Good Call Louis, I knew that was there, but had trouble finding it:

Have you tried adjusting the facet angle for the curved roof plane?

Thanks Louis, Allen and Dermott. That's a really helpful tip.
To answer your question Dermott, the roof planes seem to curve very nicely...It's just the trim which was getting funky.
Much appreciated. ValVal
