Window Shutters on exterior

This one has me puzzeled. How can the exterior shutters be changed in Chief? When using the Window Specification dialogue for Treatments, I can easily check the Shutter box, but in render view, the shutters are not what I expect, and there seems to be no way to change them. I know I am missing some fine and detailed element here, but just cannot find thru searching the threads or online videos what I am not doing correctly.

While I find shutters in the Architectural symbols, of all places in Interiors/Accessories/Window Treatments/Shutters, I still am not finding shutter styles to use or get the results I'm looking for..........do I need to create custom symbols and then import? I don't recall this being such a difficult task in previous versions.
