Auto Right or Auto Left??

In wall cabinet defaults, Front, “item type” there is an “Auto Right” and “ Auto Left” door. I don’t under stand this. Is this supposed to place a right or left door based on its location to other cabinets? Can someone enlighten me?

Nope.

It sets your default base cabinet, (or whichever one you setting) to go either left or right. It will set the door this way regardless of the other cabinets. You can only have one default setting at a time, but can change some of them after they are set.

An Auto Left door will automatically change between a left handed door and a double door depending on the width of the cabinet front. If the cabinet is wider then 24", it will be a double door and if the cabinet is narrower then 24" it will be a single door. The Auto Right door works pretty much the same except it will create a right-handed door when the cabinet is narrow.

If you want a cabinet door to always be a left door, right door, or a double door regardless of the cabinet size, you can now set it to one of the non-automatic types.
