Does anyone know how to fix this so I can save it as a molding?

Chad, I don't mean to state the obvious, if it is, but are you sure you don't have the "Add to library" tool available when the 2D polyline shape of the molding profile is selected? (See attached picture)

Allen,
For some strange reason it wont show up when I click on it?? I have made my own profiles before and am use to knowing how to do it thats why Im puzzled.
I also tried to turn it into a block and save it but that didnt really work. I even cut and pasted it like my other profiles I have done thinking it might work and it didnt. So Im not quite sure what to try next?Chad Cardin

You must not have a true vertical edge. The rule is it must contain a vertical edge to the left.
...or is edit polyline parts on?

That might be the ticket Katy.
Chad, if making the left edge parallel to a true vertical line doesn't work, try putting it on it's own layer, lock that layer, zoom in to full screen on that item, then redraw over it. Then see if you can add the new polyline you drew to your library.Allen Brown

Allen,
Thanks for the profile, it worked! The only problem Ive been having is how do you line up the volute with the railing properly? I tried it in 2d but you cant see where the railing is in 2d and in 3d its hard to view the different angels propertly.
Any suggestions on how you got yours to look so good!!??Chad Cardin
