unwanted cad lines
I have cad lines I can not high light & remove. The line appeared on the floor plan . How can I get eliminate this line?
It seems to be between floors ,but only visible on one.

Try going to options/show items and scroll down to see if you have any cad layers that have something on them (check box before layer# will be preceeded by an *) that are locked. If so, unlock and you should then be able to select and delete cad items on that layer.

Gary,
If a roof passes threw a ceiling it will draw lines in the plan view where they intersect. When this happens you will not be able to delete or select the lines. A way to tell if this is the case is to turn the 'Beams and Soffit' layer off and see if they disapear. If the roof passing threw the ceiling is what you desire and don't want to see the lines in plan you can use a white line drawn over those lines to hide them.

Garry another way like wakes, but also gets rid of them is to remove ceiling in problem rooms and rebuild floors/ceilings
