Porch and wall trouble
Can someone please tell me why I am having a problem with the front porch? When you look at it either top or bottom it doesn't look right. Maybe surface fighting? Also my gable above the bay window is showing framing instead of brick. I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,

mike
dont seem to see the problems you are talking about, however the walls on the bay need some minor tweaking in regard to height as they were showing thru the roof at the wall end. I dragged the pl for the gable out to the edges also.
Not sure how to send back the plan.

Mike,
I opened your file and found nothing of a major nature amiss (see screen capture of the model).
Nice job as far as I can see.
Am I not seeing something that you see on your PC?

I see the same old gable-wall problem I see in Chief 10, when a smaller bay projects out from it.
Those little untextured triangles above the bay's hipped roof intersects are annoying, don't you think?

Sorry for the late reply...went away for the weekend. yes Gene! those darn triangles. I tried manipulating everything (bay, attic walls) I could not get rid of them. I also see a problem if you have a close shot in on the front porch. If you look at the skirt of the porch, it looks like surface fighting. I could not get rid of. Finally if you are in tight on the porch and look up under the porch, it looks like crap. Any help?
