Retaining walls under slab

I am trying to create a large slab (patio) on a hillside, with retaining walls under it supporting it.

I created the slab using the polyline solid tool. Now all I need to do is add the walls. Is there a way to create a terrain / retaining wall and specify a continuous top of wall height and have it go down until it hits the terrain? With terrain walls it seems you can only specify a constant wall height. As a retaining wall, I've tried creating invisible walls above to create a "room" and then manipulate the wall to "stop at floor platform" and others, but it still looks like the picture I have attached.

Any help is appreciated.

Use a regular stemwall and define the ceiling height as necessary. In section view break the wall in pull the bottom to follow terrain.
