You should able to with the wall hatch tool or you could draw it in with a hatched polyline.

Thanks Rusty, that was easy. Do you know of a way to save the settings for the wall hatch specification. I don't want to have to change the hatch pattern every time I use it.

I don't know of a way. Maybe someone else does?

It used to be that you could call out the default spacing of the wall hatching only - now the spacing is controlled in the DBX (wall hatch specification). Still no way to change the default hatch pattern though.

Not that I know of, but it should be an option along with being able to set a patterns origin (per hatch pattern) Like for Tile, Had to sneak that in.

As individual Origins? I.E. if I have 3 bathrooms with all the same tile (material), I can set the origins for all 3 and all 3 having different origins? I don't think so, unless I rename each one. Correct me If I'm mistaken.

Doug,
You didn't say anything about multiple instances of the same material.
Create copies of the tile.
Not a big deal.

That I know, And no it's not a big deal. I didn't think I needed to mention multi instances, when most cad drawings that utilize patterns exstensivly like we do in details, it' becomes an inconvienience. When during selection of the fill pattern, if it were made available then to indicate origin, it would cut down on steps needed. To add, I woun't have to add a material if I wanted to just use a fill pattern in order to orient a pattern.
