A sneaky way to tame them: Select the arrows, Ctrl-X to delete them and store them on your windows clipboard. Make your edits, then Ctrl-alt-V will put the right back where they belong, pointing right where they always dis.
Nice Wendy..... but how how about this....... select all arrows and block them, do your editing and then unblock.... same result without the cutting and coping.

The videos we watch are not 100% gold, but if we find a gold nugget, the time spent viewing has a value.

Huh! I'm guessing that works also. You might get some annoying selecting of that block, but that's probably the only only downside.

I'm wishing there was a way to group select just the arrows, rather than pick, pick, pick. Anybody find one?

I wrote code in 1984 to make my Sinclair 100 - so I used to be a programmer! So I can say with authority how easy it is to program Chief features! ;-)
