Fish Scale Hatching
Does anyone know if there is a fish scale hatching for Chief Architect. I am doing an historical house and the building dept. wants to see all the elements of this home. It currently has exterior trim that looks like fish scales.

You can add ACAD pats
If you find an appropriate ACAD .pat file you can add it to Chief and access it when setting the pattern of the material (Create a new material).
You have to first open the new pat file and the use the entries drop-down to find it.
I have a pat file filled with tons of pats that I put together. It is simply a text file with them appended one after the other.
If you get lost email me.-Eric

here are a few patterns that may be what you want..unzip and put them in the pattern folder in Chief and when you select a pattern browse to this file and select one from the list..

Chief ships with some custom patterns that may be what you are interested in. Look at the custom patterns in Chiefarc.pat for Roof-G or Roof-D. Adjust the scale and you should be set to go.
