Karel,
You are correct in that Chief will only display "wood-look" 3-D framing. You can, via the "Framing Dialogue Box" change the members to emulate steel in thickness, then with some manual editing of the generated members get even closet but the hollowed out look of rolled steel framing is not automatically something Chief will do. The thought of creating steel framing member symbols and then manually framing a model makes my blood run cold (would the end result justify the labor? I think not.).
