Application of defaults to existing drawing.
I have an existing drawing and am trying to change the defaults created in another (blank) drawing, When I go to the existing drawing the new defaults are not transferred from the blank sheet. (Have tried the usual turn off program etc.
Also, how do I transfer the new defaults to existing walls and floors. For Foundations, they have to be deleted but does this apply to other elements?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

If I understand your question, each set of defaults is unique to each drawing or plan file, so if you change the the defaults on one plan file, those settings will not transfer to any new plan file you create.
You CAN change all the defaults for every new drawing by modifying the 'profile' plan (see manual) but different defaults will not transfer between plan files.
You can also set up templates with the defaults you prefer but the same rule applies.
Hope that answers your question. The purpose of Government is to control the common resources, not the common man.
