    Existing material

    Had an idea to try.
    Doing additions I like to show the existing as just blank but still want a good rendering.
    Did a copy of the siding and changed the pattern to sheet.
    Now on the elevations it shows the way I want it to.Makes the plan easier to read and tell what is new.

    Put it in the questions section so it could be searched for if more tips are added..

    Looks like a good idea to me. I don't do remodels ... yet anyway ... so haven't had to deal with those display options and issues for the new vs. existing. Thanks for sharing that.

    My plans do look tons better from what I have learned from Wendy.
    Just so much you can learn here.Some times you need an experienced person pointing out your mistakes..
