    Hello Gurus,

What's the right way of creating this? I'm not doing this correctly. Thanks.

The right side looks right, just that issue on the left side? Did you use windows to create the alcove for the column to go in? Might need to set sash, jamb, casing etc., to zero on that side?

    I did something similar here-

    Hi Bryce,

Yes, I used windows for the recess. I'll try to zero the thickness. Will post the result. Thanks

    Bryce,

Your rendering in post #2 looks fantastic! I love the details you used. Would you mind posting the plan so I may study some of your techniques. I would really appreciate the help. Again.... it looks really really good!

    Big zero

Set the window separation to zero in the defaults.

Edit/default settings/ double click on "window", then set minimum separation to zero.

Thanks for the compliment. Asking a bit much to post it, but you can buy it here.

    Boris sez

Yes, thats one of Chiefs best "secrete handshakes" , the window separation also applies to doors and window/door combinations.

Perhaps Chief should add a splash screen every time you start the program.
