Newel offset in elevation
Why does a newel or balluster show offset in elevation but in plan view you have it where it belongs? I know I've seen this problem before.

This problem as to do with the origin of the symbol. You may need to copy the newel or baluster to "my millwork" and change the origin.

Are you placing them automatically in the stair DBX? If you place them maually the origin can be off.

They are actually going on a manually made railing on a deck.

There have been some reports of a very inconsistant bug with the origin of columns and posts. It might be good to call support.
