SU 7 Pro - CA

The drag and drop feature doesnt seem to be working with SU 7 Pro...i just upgraded and drew a symbol, saved it and tried the drag-drop in CA it says it cannot load the symbol. It worked so well with SU 6.

I exported from SU as a .3ds and used symbol wizard in CA and it worked fine...i wonder if SU changed something for V7 so it doesnt work with CA as good...

I'll keep trying though, anybody have SU 7 Pro and have drag-drop issues?

Yes, this is an issue with SU 7

There is a prior thread about this.


CA has indicated that SU hasn't released the new interface for SU7 yet and until they do you will need to use SU6 with Chief.

The symbols from SU7 are working fine in CA...just not the drag-drop feature...
