    Overhang ceiling

What is the best way to do a ceiling under this overhang? I think I've had too much coffee this morning. Thanks to all who answer.

Invisible deck railing walls should work. You do want a deck under it, right?

You could build a room below the roof with invisible walls and then set the ceiling height.

You could also make sure boxed eaves are selected, change the roof overhang to match that porch roof (4’-8” ?). You will have to reconfigure that roof section with this option.

Use a ceiling plane if you don't want a room to deal with there.

Gene--The entire area is going to eb dry laid brick pavers.
Ray--The trouble with boxed eves is that on the gable end get a large fascia showing and I want the siding to be shown.
Rusty--How do I go about making a ceiling plane in the overhang? That's exactly what I want to do but don't know how to go about putting the ceiling in. What dbx do you use and how do you click on the area? Am I missing something really simple. I guess anything is hard till you know how to do it. Thanks to all who have answered.

You should be able to use the roof tool, select ceiling planes and then draw one there just like you would draw a roof plane.

Make it a room using invisible walls and the ceiling should appear, if not then set "ceiling over this room" in the structure tab of the room dbx

I would have just used a slab or solid..
Not sure why it doesn't have a material there to begin with..
