eliminate fascia on section of eves

Is there a way to eliminate the fascia on only one section of fascia, specifically where it cuts across a dormer? If I move the roof cutout at the dormer far enough into the dormer wall so the fascia doesn't stick out my dormer disappears! I haven't found the happy medium where the fascia dissappears but the dormer doesn't. I'm doing this with 6" stud walls for the dormer sitting on ICF walls for the rest of the exterior, BTW.
