    Stairs blocked!

Looks like the inspector found my stairs not to code and built a barrier!

I got through stacking stairs, sort of. Found out that Chief insists on cutting the floor holes as part of the stair build thing. I had made the staircase with "open below" holes and was not succeeding.

But now I have a railing I cannot remove. No matter what, I cannot lose it. I believe it is part of the lower stairs running from basement up to main floor, trying to rail off the opening. I created the large first step of the stairs shown going from main to upper, as a landing, integral to the stairs.

    Suggestions?

Select the edge of landing you created and uncheck the box for <RAIL ON SELECTED EDGE>...and check the wall connection I have circled.

Thanks, Joey. That wasn't exactly the solution, but in going 'round the three sides of that landing, checking specs on all three, one of my SELECT clicks discovered a wall, a railing wall, right across where the mystery railing is.

I deleted the highlighted wall, and that solved it. Who knows what generated that little wall, but hey, it's gone now!
