With the plan open look for the Send to Layout icon on the toolbar, or on the File pull down menu.

Next suggestion?

Hello Marek,
You need to have both the layout and plan file open simultaneously. Under the File menu choose Open Layout and find the layout file your draftsperson created. I am not at a computer with CA but I assume that since the icon is not active it is because there is no layout file open currently.alan lehman - Lehman Design Studio - Carmel, CA

Are you sure you don't have that option under File? See Picture. Also, regardless of wether or not a layout is open, the "Send to layout" button should not be greyed out.

Thank You All For Suggestions
Success by opening layout & plan simultaneously. I do have V10.
Next Q. How to keep the border and size box filling the page (not to scale) and keep the plan at 100:1.
I have tried two different ways of printing, one with the border correct but plan enlarged, other with plan to scale but border & boxes also reduced. If my explanation is not clear would it help for me to send copy of my printout/file.
Again, thanks all for help.

To all...pleased disregard previous call for help on printing
Success, I took the time to 'read the instructions' and print out the border and plan to scale.
Thank you.
