    Door offsets

I have totally lost my mind. How do I offset a door either up or down.
Sorry for such a dumb question

As if I were to set a garage door down 4 inches?

You can just drag it in elevation, or use the tra nsform/replicate tool.

I drew a 24 x 24 garage and placed a garage door in one wall. I highlighted the door to try and drag, but the door seemed to not want to move.

I will try the other method and let you know if it works

I am not sure why I am the only one answering myself except for billemery?, Must be a pretty easy one that I should know. But I added a foundation to the garage and yes the garage door offset into the foundation wall.

    Don:

create the garage, label it as a garage, build the foundation, and then place the door and Chief will auto-magically set the door correctly.

    Don,
Use the ctrl key when you select the door-this allows it be moved anywhere.
