    Attic Walls!!!!!

how do you make attic walls disappear for good? i am drawing a plan with vaulted ceiling and have a few walls i want to stop at 9' and be open above but whenever i delete the attic wall it comes right back!! i have fought this before and am sure i am just doing something wrong. plus, i am still using ca10 so that may be part of my problem. thanks

    Edit>Default Settings>Walls>General Wall.

In the DBX that comes up in the top right corner is a setting "Auto Rebuild
Attic Walls", just uncheck and delete the walls that you need deleted.

EDIT: Oh wait...not sure if this will work for V10 or not. Sorry...should
have read the post all the way

In V10 it's 3D/3D Settings. They moved it in X1.

As and alternative, you can make them invisible. That way you should still be able to rebuild other attic walls if necessary.

    thanks everybody.

Larry, i have tried that trick and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. it has been very frustrating at times to say it in a nice way.
