Add object to library

Hi all
When I have an object selected and press the add object to library button nothing happens. Never had a problem in the past, its not working in any plan.
Restarted computer, still no luck.
Anybody out there got any ideas what could cause this or what I might try to get it working again??

What exactly is it you're trying to save?

I cant save anything at all to the library as soon as I press the add object to library button chief freezes, if I then press Esc twice I can continue using chief as normal (except I cant add to the library, I can however addd any objects in the library to a plan as normal)

Never heard of anyone else having that problem. This happens in any file you open? One particular plan? (oops, I see you answered this already) Might need to put in a support ticket.

Tracey I had a similar proplem and posted on this about three pages back - "Try Preferences/Library and click the button that says "Restore Position/Size Defaults" and see if this helps to get things back on track

When you have an object selected and you press the "add object to library" button an add to library box appears, I think for some reason this box is hidden somewhere so that I can no longer see it, how would I get it back?

Thanks for the help but its back and working again, have no idea how I fixed it but am happy to say all is back to normal.
