Which cabinet catalogs would you prefer to see available as Chief Architect Libraries?

If your brand is not listed, please add it in a post to this thread.

I use "any" that the client requests, so more lines is great

    Andrea,
I would prefer to see more customization tools rather than specific libraries. It would seem that the time spent making all the different requested libraries could be better spent developing more tools which would allow each user to make their own libraries. Kind of like "killing two birds....." Think about that a bit. I realize the libraries are likely farmed out to others and have nothing to do with the programmers time so...maybe not. Anyway, my vote is for less flash and more power.

Edit: If it has to be a cabinet line over tools then I would go for Wood-Mode for which I voted in the poll

I think more tools would be good too as my partner can use them, but I need more libraries as I don't know how to use the cabinet tools and it will be a long time before I can get around to studying them and even then I may not be able to do it.

While my partner could use the tools, I would have to pay for his time.

Bottom line I want more tools and more libraries

Huntwood would be nice.. I've modified some of the stock cabinets to resemble Huntwood for my most used ones.

Wow...just noticed my poor grammer in the Poll title.
Probably should have been something like "Which Cabinet Brands Do You Specify..."

Now I wish I could edit that title...oh well...

Could not have said it better. I think there are to many cost variables for a set few manufactures libraries to be that useful. A K&B specialists will have a completely different set of needs than a production builder and visa versa. My firm does a good mix of custom, production, and remodel..so I need all of them. Or!! a really great set of tools to create any cabinet under the sun, and save it to my own libraries.

    Adrean,

I agree with Lew with the "any the client requests". On another note, though I realize not everyone here is in resale, is there any way these catalogs could give us access to pricing? I think it would be wonderful if I didn't have to switch to 20/20 to do my kitchen designs because 20/20 will spit out pricing. This is a HUGE time saver, plus I can be wicked lazy. Going through the book to get individual prices on each cabinet and then figure upgrades is as much work as it is time consuming. Probably asking too much aren't I... Armstrong would be a nice addition to that list though.
