    Removing roof return in front of dormer

    I want to use/combine the wall below a dormer to make the window larger and allow it to flow up the wall into the dormer. I have tried breaking the roof in front of the dormer, dragging it back to the facing wall but the gutter remains across the front of the wall and it will not allow the underlying wall to be shared with the dormer. Ideas appreciated.

    I don't understand how the "gutter" is preventing anything? Did you order a "Full Return" in the dormer dialog (those can be turned off or unchecked there). Things like returns and gutters can be turned on and off via the Dormer specification dialog.
