unwanted plane showing up in 3d view

I can not get rid of this plane that shows up in 3d view on my roof.
I have tried rebuilding roofs with no success. Anybody have an answer?

I would go to the attic level and delete that wall. Hit F12. If it reappears, open that wall, change it to invisible wall, click retain attic wall. That should take care of it. Without opening the plan, I cannot tell you why it is creating that particular wall.

Tapered columns....i used one of my favorite tools...polyline moldings...just draw a section representing the taper you want convert it to a molding and convert a line or polyline to a polyline molding..pick your height and material and there you go...

Thanks for your help...i had two ceiling heights..10' for the covered entry court outside and the entry inside and the room to the left was at 9'..this should not have created a problem but it did..i fixed it by changing the inside entry to 9' and moving the entry wall and then changing it back and moving the wall back...very weird...this is not the first time i have seen this triangle plane appear between rooms?
