several problems on chief

When I am try to create floor plans on Chief Architect. The roofs won't appear over the 3rd story of one house and on all of them go flat in the middle often. On one of my floor plans the 3rd story doesn't show up. It also wont allow me to create OPen Below rooms even when the walls all ocnnect unless they connect to an outside wall. What do I do?
