I don't know anything about electrical, mainly because we don't show wiring,
but I would think if you set the defaults to be "to code", then it would draw
it "to code".
That's my 14 cents...Jonathan

Hi Scott,
The only thing I can think of, that he may be referring to, is the Auto Outlets. It works room by room and should add outlets at 12 feet oc around the room. However, they are rarely where you want them and need to be adjusted. But you should get enough outlets in the room as a starting point. Chief doesn't show wiring.

This is only partly true. Chief will install a GFCI in the bathrooms and kitchens, as well as place receptacles in about the right locations and distances from each other but for California code you need AFCI in bedrooms and Chief doesn't do that or a couple of other things needed automatically.

If you don't have an AFCI labeled outlet I can post a set for you (assuming that is ok with CA).
Sam:
If it's from the CA library they frown on posting as the Lite or PRO uses can use them and CA would prefer the upgrade

It sounds simple but I remember having to fuss with it a little. My first few attempts did not always orient the label correctly in all instances. I spent at least a couple hours until I got the label to orient correctly in all instances.
Some may find this to be of interest if they are doing any other customization of labels. I can jog my memory if it is of interest.
