Kaspersky
Hello all,
We have Kaspersky running on our systems, and it is detecting Chief Architect X1.exe as a riskware, invader (loader).
Has anyone heard of such instances where antivirus sees something in the chief folder???
Using X1 with the latest update, have already contacted support...
Thanks!!!Jorge Araya

Jorge:
You know that Chief has invaded all of our lives, you will now be assimilated, resistance is futile
Sounds like an issue with Kaspersky, unless something has corrupted Chief ???
You should be able to put Chief on your "safe" list.

Kaspersky shouldn't see CA as a problem. Your file may in fact be infected.
In Kaspersky, go to settings, Threats and exclusions and see if Potentially dangerous software is checked.

The AV vendor should be able to determine which problem it is. I would certaintly be on the phone with them trying to solve the problem before doing anything else.Dan Park,

Kaspersky isn't seeing the .exe as any kind of threat. Archive the .exe file and upload it to CA and let them look at it. They will be able to tell you if it is infected. If it is, you will need to run a full scan on your system and find all the other files that should not be on your drive.

Yes, archive the .exe file.
I prefer Rar to Zip, but archive it.
