Need arch window help
The center window is easy with a broken arch, but how about those side arched windows?? Is there an easy way?
Thanks,Allen Brown

I didn't fuss around with this long enough to get it just right, but it looks like you should be able to dial this in using a Gothic Arch on either side, checking Arch on Left/Right as appropriate on either side, and then fussing with the height under the Arch tab dbx.

Allen,
Do all three windows & make all three windows hgt the max hgt of the center window. get your spacing right between the three windows. Then block them together & then make the arch. This one would be a "broken arch".
Piece of cake.

That is definitely way better, had no idea you could put an arch over a blocked set of windows. Sweeeeet, thanks Jim.

That is a good method, but with 60" tall windows, I can't get more than a 30" tall arch with a "broken arch", every time I try to select "round top", it reverts to broken arch. But, it might have to do.:

The broken arch hgt can only be 1/2 the width of the blocked unit. When the arch hgt is more than 1/2 the unit width, the "broken arch" becomes a "round top".
Try it. I think that is how it works.

Also, you may have to unblock/reblock the unit to enter a new arch hgt after trying to enter a value Chief didn't like.
That's kinda weird. Been playin' w/ this a little this morning.

I did try it. It reverts back to a broken. It seems that broken arch will only go 1/2 the HEIGHT of the unit. My unit is 132" wide, 60" tall, and the max arch ht is 30". Keep in mind, this is with a triple blocked window set. If I use one window 132" wide, I don't have any restriction on the ht of the arch with a broken arch.

On further "playing around", hgt does matter. Arch hgt is limited to 1/2 the total hgt too.
Allen, I would just block all the windows together, including the ones below the top 3, & then make your broken arch. Should be able to get your desired broken arch hgt then.

I'm not sure of your method, but I am certainly not getting the same results that you are??

Got it, Allen.
I had to block the vertical units together 1st, then block the three vertical window blocks, then define the broken arch.
Sometimes the muntins didn't behave very well either.

Allen,
I was able to get a 66" broken arch (1/2 the width) by blocking the bottom row of windows. Blocking vertically & then blocking them together seems to be the key.
