    Pesky ellipse

I drew an ellipse in a plan view (to fake in a sink) but when I finished every time I click in free space on the plan the ellipse is selected.

    What the flip?

I have worked around this by using an oval instead. Some might say, "what have you got against the oval?". I am in no way an antiovite (in fact some of my best ellipses are ovals) but sometimes an ellipse is just sweeter.

I can't seem to repeat your issue with an ellipse, but I have noticed this same exact behavior with terrain features? Not sure if it's all plans, but at least in some, I can't click anywhere inside the terrain feature (most annoying when you have used a terrain hole in lieu of having the plan automatically cut the terrain), without selecting it. I end up having to lock it.

    Zip and post the plan?

Here lies the plan file with the pesky ellipse. Maybe there is some setting to magically switch it from narcissism mode.
The ellipse in question is on the second floor. It is the bathroom sink.

    Thanks for playing.

Not at my Chief computer at the moment. Sitting in the living room with the laptop while my wife watches the big finale of "The Bachelorette"

I'll check it out in the morning.

I can repeat the behavior in a new plan. It occurs only when the ellipse is filled. You should send this one in to support, it's obviously a bug.

Yep, same here. Filling it changes the behavior. Good call Warren. Does seem like a bug. Send it in.

Yeah, even though I wasn't paying that much attention, choosing the snow-boarder was pretty stunning. She seemed a little smarter than that. But she also seemed like she wanted to be the one wearing the pants.

Yikes, now I am going to have to admit to my wife that I have been gossiping about The Bachelorette on the Forum. Not sure I will survive the shame and humiliation.
