Material eyedropper, material painter and custom countertop tool doesn't work

Thank you for posting this thread. I experienced the problem with the Eyedropper tool not working correctly, and you've saved me from having to post a new thread myself. I'm not even sure how I got into the Alternate Edit Behavior, but that was the problem.

I don't know about you Catherine, but I swear there are spooks in my computer that takes over when I'm not looking.
