    Louis, or someone

    That thumbnail at the top is exactly what I am trying to do. I think I saw a thread on putting the railing on the wall, but how do I cut the wall like that? I already have the stairwell rendered fine. The client asked for one side to be cut open and the railing exposed to the dining area. I can't figure out how to cut the opening with that angle.

    After that, I'll try to figure out how to put the railing on the sloped wall top.

    Can someone give me a little direction? I'm not a newbie, but I haven't tried this before.
    The very best to everyone.

    Awsome answer! Thank you. And so quickly!
    Yes I searched. I'm not always good at target shooting.
    My wife, on the other hand, seems to be a cybertelepath.
    But she's not here today.

    Thanks again.

    Me again;

    I'm very glad I learned that. Thanks. But once I got into it, I realized it wasn't my question. What I need is to create that sloped half-wall, like in the image at the top of the thread.

    Actually, now I'm beginning to like your idea better.
    But my condition is more complicated than the one in the video.
    So I guess I'll have to fiddle for awhile.
