How can I explode a symbol & modify it?

I have a ADA shower symbol that I picked up somewhere. I would like to take a couple of the component out of it and recreat the symbol as a 38" shower ILO a 60" shower.

Hi Richard
You can open it in another program and edit it.(TurboCad)
Or try opening it in a new plan,taking a 3d view,use the delete surface tool to get rid of what you do not want.
Then convert that to a symbol..Deleted surfaces should not save this way.Just spin it to look at all sides before converting it.

I've tried the surface deletion and it doesn't work very well for complex items. Thanks for the response
