creating signs
I would like to create my own company sign to put in front of homes i draw. Can I take a logo and do this some how.

Yes you can, quite easily. I have made signs, brochures, business cards, all in Chief and printed to PDF, which printing companies can print directly from to make signs, etc. I made some jobsite signs awhile back. I think I got 5 plastic ones with stands for $150 or so.

Poly solid,
make material from jpeg of your company logo
stretch to fit & place it anywhere you want.

i want to create a custom sign/billboard to place in my renders. for example name of apartment complex

About 3 or 4 pages in on past threads you will find one that says gimme a sign I posted last week. Check out the response from Allen. He has a building a sign video. I tried it and it worked great. I lifted the logo and trail map of my local ski area off of there web site and used it to creat two signs on a terrane park lodge I am designing. Needless to say everyone was impressed.

I googled up this sign (attach) I needed for a swimming pool common area I was designing and stuck it on a poly solid and put it where ever I wanted.
