Plumbing Riser Diagram
In a major bind - have to have a plumbing riser diagram for a residential project in Ulster County New York. Just go in and got an additional fax to the corrections req'd for permitting that requested a the diagram. I have no idea how to do this and need it done by tomorrow (Tuesday June 02). Anyone that could turn this around that quick? PLEASE contact me asap!

Brayden:
sorry, but I am booked but here are some threads you can check about doing this yourself, or maybe someone else will have time to do one for you.
Try a search on "riser" if you need to see more threads, but some of the threads will be about stair risers.
Good luck
Lew

They're actually called "Plumbing Isometric", try this for an example, and do a google search.

They are definately called riser diagrams. I've done my fair share of CIVIL design, and all gas and plumbing companies call them riser diagrams.

Since serving my plumbing apprentiship in 1967, and being a plumber and licensed plumbing contractor and designer for over 40 years, I think I'll still call them "Plumbing Isometrics", thank you very much . The term "riser" as it pertains to plumbing, means a "vertical pipe", that would mean if you are drawing a "plumbing riser" you would be drawing all of the vertical piping, not anything else. The isometric portrays the entire piping system, shown in isometric view with all water, DWV, and fuel piping, with sizing notes and relationship to one another.
Of course you folks back East are still using those silly little saws with the blade on the wrong side, while we're using real "skillsaws" out here on the left coast , so you can an Isometric, "risers" if you want.Last edited by PhoenixConstruction; 06-03-2008 at 04:45 PM.

Residential Details collection has plumbing diagrams included. This collection is done in Chief CAD, 3d. Very easy to copy paste. The problem is finding an available copy as the author retired.

Perry:
where are you seeing 211 posts ???
the post by Brooklyn only had 1 post and that has now been deleted by CA as I reported it as SPAM via the red triangle in the upper right corner.
