    Since serving my plumbing apprentiship in 1967, and being a plumber and licensed plumbing contractor and designer for over 40 years, I think I'll still call them "Plumbing Isometrics", thank you very much . The term "riser" as it pertains to plumbing, means a "vertical pipe", that would mean if you are drawing a "plumbing riser" you would be drawing all of the vertical piping, not anything else. The isometric portrays the entire piping system, shown in isometric view with all water, DWV, and fuel piping, with sizing notes and relationship to one another.

    Of course you folks back East are still using those silly little saws with the blade on the wrong side, while we're using real "skillsaws" out here on the left coast , so you can an Isometric, "risers" if you want.
