leader line text tool arrow problem..

when I use the new leader line text tool for
detailing plans with text, the arrows appear
on 'both' the lines instead of just the 'final' line.
(assume 2 lines are drawn at right angles to one another, both connected.)

I have other plans that when i open it only puts the
arrow on the final line, pointing to the desired item to add a text note about.


where do I find the setting to change this behaviour?
