    Funny Roof problem...

Hi all - odd thing happening here. Have a roof that is not showing up in any render views unless I have roof framing layer turned on in 3D. Anyone know how to stop this as I hate having the framing on in 3D cause it just bogs down my machine when I try and navigate around model. See attached pics...

ok this is really odd - i turned all layers on and unlocked them. the roof plane in question does not show up at all - just the "roof overhang area" polyline. but it IS there!! ARGH!!!

Have you tried redrawing the rogue roof plane? Also I may try just pulling the valley edge away from the valley and see if you get the same thing. Just wondering if there is a conflict where the valley hits the corner of the wall.

As far as the 2x12's I bet you have in your roof defaults "Trusses (no birdsmouth). You will need to open your roof planes and change the rafter depth.
