    I would need to do some research here to see if anything changed. The logic used to be as follows:

    1) Look in the current library folder at the same relative path to the program for the image.

    2) Look in the folder that the plan or layout is in.

    3) Look at the absolute path for the image where it was originally stored.

    4) Search through all sub folders of the plan or layout.

    5) Search through all the library folders.

    In your case is seems like you were relying on step 3. This is easy to break, by changing drive letters, etc. For X1.3 we did change the directory from where we load template files. As long as your old location remained intact things should still work, but if the old location were deleted, that would break things.

    Another option, especially for your layout templates is to embed the picture in the template file itself. I would recommend this method for templates as there is no need to worry about keeping the image file in the right location. The option for this is in the picture dialog box.
