Roof Framing ?

I have a long 5 in 12 roof. On one side of the ridge, the rafters auto framed normal slooping down from the ridgeboard. On the other side, there are no rafters-only some long randomly scattered 2x4s (laying flat) running parallel to the ridge. WEIRD!! On this weird side, there are some smaller gable roofs framed into the main roof. These framed normal. Would anyone have a clue as to why it won't frame correctly? thanks BL

Sounds like the kind of thing where you might need to post the plan itself, or at least some 3D views of what is going on.
