I missed the railing idea.
Thought you were just having problems connecting them...........

OK there is an easier way. The solid wall railing technique will work as well just as it does for a straight wall. I just talked to Louis and he tells me it will work for curved stairs. I just like to do it the hard way.

Ben's stairs are a little more complex...will be interesting to see if the solid railing wall will work. It would be very cool if it did.

There is also a buggette with this. Chief loses the cap on a curved wall.
Oh well another thing to fix.

Okay Louis I give.... how did you control the height of the wall. Is a wall that you manipulated or is a railing and if it is a railing how did you change it to a wall

Allen,
Look at my tutorial on making the wall align with a radius.
What are you all going to do without my tutorials?

Allen,
I got both walls working now, I resized the height in vector view and it looks like louis's drawing

Scott,
I did railing and it does it automatically.
Mine is supposed to have a wood cap, like I said a buggette.Last edited by louis; 02-26-2008 at 02:50 PM.

I still don't get how you changed the stair railing to a wall. I drew a wall on the inside and outside of the curved stairs and the reshaped it and then I suppose I can change the wall to the stone wall that Ben wanted in the beginning
