Bay window roof

I have built a two story with a gable on the front wall . There is a bay going from first to second floor . I am trying to create a separate hip roof for the bay under the gable of the main wall . When I apply "build roof" the front hip of the bay continues up the roof plane creating two gables on either side of the bay . How do I separate the bay roof from the upper gable ?

I,m not sure what you problem here is exactly but why don't you just draw in the bay window roof with manual drawn roof sections should only take about a minute, then open the bay roof sections to adjust their height, while taking a peak in elevation veiw to check
