3 questions:
What version are you using?
Is this V10 brought forward?
Do you have the latest patch for X1 if X1?Tommy Blair

Tommy, they've gotta be on X1.
X1'S the source of this problem.
This problem is like pulling two gulps of Coke from a Coke bottle that only has one gulp of space avaialable.
aluth23, you have to DELETE the cameras/cross sections from your plan and your layout and do them over to get this to stop.
You may be well served to scan for threads on the X1 layout problems/issues. X1 also changed how layer sets are handled, new layer sets have been 'Assigned'
But besides all that just stop wasting your time. Delete and reshoot the elevations. It's the ONLY way you'll get rid of the gable walls 'bleeding' through.Alan Michaud

Alan is correct here.
There is a case where elevation views were created with bad internal transforms.
We fixed the underlying problem so if you get the latest updates creating a new cross section camera will fix this up. We attempted to find a way to fix up the existing bad transforms but it's simply not possible to solve. Creating a new cross section camera should solve the problem.Dan Park,

Thanks, I didn't realize there was another update out, i had 11.0.4.69 and re shooting them wasn't always fixing it. I'm downloading the newest one now and will see if that solves the problem, thanks for the help,
K, well i just installed the update and deleted the views, then re did it all and it's still not working, any ideas?

There seems to be some confusion on this problem.
Deleting the view in layout and resending does not solve this problem. You must create a new elevation view in plan and send that over.Dan Park,

Yeah i did that. i deleted the view from layout, then from plan. made a new one, tried sending to layout, then saving view and also tried saving view then sending to layout. either way i do it i get the same problem.

I think spell checking the word 'finish' is the only way to solve the problem.

I have had this happen and found that F12 cleaned things up.

Yeah i don't think my horrible spelling has anything to do with CA not working, at any rate, f12 didn't do anything, and I've sent about 3 more plans to layout and all of the rear views have the same issues. Anyone having the same problem?

Sorry for the smart a$$ post, and I realize it's no help. I have not seen that problem before- hope that helps.
