    Reference display stuck on...

How about when the reference layer gets stuck half way "on"... I turn the references off, but the lines just go black instead of red...and they wont go away...no matter how much i fiddle with the reference toggle or the layer toggle...

    Very annoying...
I've tried re-build, i've tried changing layer sets, i've tried punching my screen...they are still there. The only way i can make it go away is to save, close CA, and re-open...which is my fix for alot of things lately...just close chief and walk away, to let it (and me) cool down...

I have up-to-date vid. cards and hardware, i have current software...

    Anybody else getting this?

Do you do regular maintenance on your computer?
It sounds more like a hardware thing..

I wear my sunglasses at night...so i can, so i can...

Keep track of the visions in my eyes...

Corey Hart, anyone? ok...no, didnt think so...

Anyway, i'm afriad to hit F9 now, not sure if the references will go away!

waaah! waaah! Anyway, here is an example... Normally my references are red, but now they are black, oh and i also tried the color toggle, it toggles the color, but doesnt touch the locked-on references...

yes, regular maintenace is done on the hardware, and also the software...

regular updates, HD ghosting, regular hardware checks & cleaning, etc...what kind of hardware problem would cause such a specific symptom? The reference layer is a layer like any other...i dont have problems like this with my other layers...

hey, when i zoom in/out with the mouse wheel...the once red but now black reference lines that are locked, turn blue! It's a semi-multicolored issue

Email me the plan and I will have a look.
If it is not your video card, I think it may be.......... user error.

F9 turns it on...F9 turns it off...

I may not be the brightest bulb in the knife drawer...but, i think...i can handle the F9 key all by my own self. its a tricky move, but most days (except some mondays) i can manage to press down with my finger.

    I'll double check though...thanks
