Rotating millwork and other library objects in 3D

Can we PLEEEEEEESE have a way to rotate symbols in 3D?

Here I have a corbel that I would like to rotate to match the pitch of the roof over a gable.

Seems like a simple operation...why can't we do this? I know I can always make a special symbol to do this...but I would have to make new ones for every pitch angle.

There is a way to do this using a 3D symbol molding.

See this article to make the molding:

Apply the new molding to the frieze or draw it in manualy.

The request to rotate symbols is a good one and is in our database. I just thought you might like to use a little easier method.

    How about this use:

    Brick with Mortar

I think this one is worthy of it's own thread. I'll work on it.

    Allen,

I had this article written for a while but we had some problems with it. I just went through it and think it works ok. Check it out and see if this works for you:
