reflect plan

Hallo Chieftains,

I wish to copy and reflect horizontally and vertically my floor plan for a
2 unit condo. I shift selected the entire plan and went to transform but
it only grabs my fixtures and roof plane, not walls etc. I must be doing something wrong. Working w/ Ver. 10.o8a.

Use the Edit tool.

Make sure you select all floors...then shift select the entire plan as you were doing before.

Now you can transform~replicate...and refelect.

Thank you kindly VHampton. This is what I needed to do. I did copy with the copy button. A question thou about the direct Reflect catagory (horiz & vert) and the copy button are not able to choose from the transform area.

I had to change the coordinates at the bottom catagory Resize/Reflect (just switch the positive and negative) to reflect horizontally. I am wondering why the direct Horiz./Vert. Reflect is not available for me to choose?

Hope you understand my question, but I do have what I needed to do.

You're very welcome.

To answer your question...I usually make this process less complicated by doing a copy first (moved over, about 100 feet away from the original)
...and then the flipping ...and rotating.
