Okay I give up . . . Making Blocked Units

Okay. I think I have tried everthing ....

I have a door with two side lites panels/windows. I use the shift button to select all three objects and then go to the "edit" button to try to select the "make block" botton but it does not appear to be there (or anywhere else). I will also have a transom but understand that the blocking needs to happen seperately with the horizontal and vertical, but again I don't see any make block button.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Try doing an elevation of the door and sidelites. Shift/select them. Once selected, you should see a make block on the edit tool bar at the bottom. If you want the transom too, shift/select it too. Not sure what you mean about going to the edit button. Once blocked, you can save it to the library.

Thanks Tommy. I am just learning CA and in the ref manual it says that the "make block" is with the "edit" button which I assumed was the "Edit" tab as there was no other "make block" icon on the tool bar. I now see it appearing on othe bottom as you note. Thanks again.
