Missing Library Brower?
I went into Chief X1 today and noticed that my library brower is not there, or anywhere visible on my screen. I click the library brower button on the toolbar and...nothing. I can use the library search function and find symbols and even bring them into my model by searching, but not by browsing.
I've tried closing CA, and re-opening it. still nothing.
Has anyone seen this happen? The library browser seems to be missing, is there a setting that i've changed or something?Matthew

Are you using a dual-monitor ?
Try some searches as there have been prior threads about missing browsers.

If you are using dual monitors, I would call support. I had the same thing happen, and they walked me through how to get it back, but I couldn't repeat it to you if I tried.

Missing Browser...Solution
Ok, Tech Support gave me the fix...I'll share what i learned but i might still call Tech Support if you have this problem and arent sure what you are doing...
-First close all programs including CA
-Run Regedit
-Choose "Hkey Current User"
-Choose "Software"
-Choose "Chief Architect Inc."
-Choose "Chief Architect Full Version"
-Choose "11.0"
-Then delete the "Plan View Control Docking" file within this folder. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE.
-Close Regedit
-Restart Chief and the library browser comes back in its default position.
Thanks Tech Support...and for everyone else, be careful using regedit, call for help if you arent sure before touching any files in there...
I'm back in business baby!!Matthew
